This document explains how Nearscreen.com ("Nearscreen") uses cookies and similar technologies to operate its trading platforms and to provide interest-based advertising. It informs you about the control you can exercise over this. The online marketplaces Nearscreen.com, Sso.nearscreen.com, App.nearscreen.com, Swiss-QR-Bill.app, Kopitz.com, Latinofanzone.com, Copaamerica2024.bet, Copaamerica2024envivo.com, Copaamerica2024.live, Copaamerica2024live.com, Dev.gvax.tv and Gvax.tv are operated by GVAX SA. Nearscreen.com, which belongs to GVAX SA, markets digital advertising in the computer and mobile domains for GVAX's own marketplaces.

You can visit our websites without having to register. However, usage data such as the IP address of your device, the pages visited, the browser used, the date, time, etc., which we store by means of cookies or similar technologies, are collected in this case. In principle, this data does not allow you to be identified.

1. Cookies

We use cookies on our websites. These cookies enable a website to recognize the browser after a first visit. As such, cookies do not identify the individual user, but only the computer or mobile device used or the browser used, by means of a randomly generated identification number (cookie ID). When the browser is closed, the cookies are saved on the computer in a text file and are reopened the next time the user connects to the server. Cookies are passive and cannot contain viruses, Trojan horses, or other malicious programs.

Cookies serve several purposes. For example, they allow you to navigate efficiently between pages, save your preferences, and generally improve the user experience. Cookies help to select online advertisements that are more relevant to your potential interests and thus prevent the appearance of advertisements that are of little or no interest to you.

We distinguish between the following cookies:

- Absolutely necessary cookies: these cookies are essential for browsing our websites and for using certain functions such as access to the protected login area. Without these cookies, services such as the shopping cart could not be offered.

- Performance cookies: These cookies collect information about which pages are visited most often. The best known of these is Google Analytics, which may record the account ID and an encrypted email address for logged-in users in order to recognize them (*). The other performance cookies do not collect any information for pseudonymized recognition of visitors. The information collected is used in aggregate and is therefore anonymous. They are used to improve the functionality of the websites, for example by means of A/B tests.

- Functionality cookies: These cookies store information that you enter (e.g. user name, language, text size, previous data, etc.) in order to improve your user experience of the websites.

- Advertising and targeting cookies: These cookies use anonymous information about your browsing habits, or more specifically those listed in the browser, to select advertisements that are more relevant to your perceived interests, to limit the frequency with which you see an advertisement, or to help measure the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns. These cookies are set by Nearscreen.com's own marketing organisation or by independent advertising networks on behalf of and with the permission of Nearscreen.com. These advertising cookies remember your visit to our websites and share this anonymous usage behaviour with other media companies. Under no circumstances are personal data such as your name, address or e-mail address stored in these cookies. The advertising and targeting cookies serve as a technical basis for the advertising financing of the largely free offer of content providers such as Nearscreen.com.

Most cookies used by Nearscreen.com are temporary session cookies, which are automatically deleted from the computer or mobile device at the end of the browsing session. However, we also use permanent cookies. These remain on the computer or mobile device after the browsing session has ended. Depending on their type, these permanent cookies remain on the computer or mobile device for between one month and ten years and are only automatically deactivated at the end of the programmed period.

(*) Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on the user's computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the user's use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate the user's IP address with any other data held by Google. The user may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on his browser (the appropriate add-on can be downloaded from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=fr); however, Nearscreen.com advises the user that such deactivation may prevent the use of certain features of this website.

2. Audience Analysis

On its websites and in its applications, GVAX SA may use anonymous analysis technologies of website and application consultations in order to continuously improve them.

3. Links to other websites

Links to third party websites are provided on the websites, online platforms and in the applications. As soon as you click on these links, you leave the sphere of influence of GVAX AG. GVAX AG does not assume any material or legal responsibility for the linked third-party websites. The terms of use and data protection regulations of these third parties apply.

4. Elements of other websites

Elements of other websites (e.g. social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube) (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") may be used on the websites, online platforms or in the applications. If you are connected to the website of a social network such as Facebook while visiting the pages of our website, data about your user behaviour may be transmitted to the provider of the respective network. In doing so, data about your visit to the GVAX AG website, online platform or application may be transmitted to the third-party provider. This data may be linked to your user account with the third-party provider (e.g. Facebook or Twitter account). In addition, the third-party provider may pass on personal data (name, first name, and e-mail address) from your user account to GVAX SA if you have agreed to this function with the third-party provider. Information on the collection and use of data by third-party providers can be found in the data protection declarations of the respective third-party providers.

5. How to manage or decline cookies

Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can set your browser not to accept any cookies or to ask for your permission before accepting a cookie from a website you visit. You can also delete cookies from your computer or mobile device using the appropriate function in your browser. To find out how to do this, please consult your browser's help or instructions under the heading "cookie".

You can decide at any time whether or not you want to receive advertising that is targeted and selected according to your potential interests. Opting out, however, does not mean that you will no longer see any online advertising. It simply means that the advertising displayed on the websites will not be selected according to your assumed interests and therefore may be less interesting to you.

In order to determine which cookies you wish to accept or reject, we recommend the following two methods:

a) Make the appropriate settings in your browser

Some browsers only allow you to block third-party cookies. Third-party cookies are cookies that are set when the website you are visiting contains elements (e.g. banner ads or videos) from a third-party provider, such as an ad network.

You can also choose to block all cookies. However, this would considerably restrict your Internet browsing experience if you use services that use absolutely necessary cookies, performance cookies or functionality cookies. For more information on how to set up your Internet browser for data protection, please consult your browser's help or instructions under the heading "cookie".

b) Use of Ghostery

Today's websites use many useful tools and technologies called "trackers" (primarily cookies) to ensure an interesting and interconnected user experience. Trackers can use this information to display ads, analyze your browsing habits, make connections to social networks, provide comment fields and much more.

Ghostery (https://www.ghostery.com/fr/) is a browser extension that helps you manage Internet trackers. It lists all the trackers present on each website and allows you to adapt them, one by one and in detail, to your needs.

This program is independently developed by Ghostery. GVAX SA has no influence on the future functionalities of this one and thus releases any responsibility as for the extent of the proposed services.
